Kiwi Audio Visual hosted their 8th Lunch and Learn at their headquarters on May 5th, 2016. Regional Sales Manager of Crestron, Michelle Baker- is a Cedia certified instructor that taught ten guests Technology for Outdoor Spaces. Four Interior Designers, four residential architects and two builders from the Southern California attended the Lunch and Learn Event at Kiwi. When the class ended, attendees took a tour of Kiwi’s facility, followed by catered Mexican food at lunchtime. Guests also received their certificate and received 1 CEU credit toward their points for 2016. CLASS DESCRIPTION-TECHNOLOGY FOR OUTDOOR SPACES- Today’s homes have technology everywhere, inside and out. This market has grown beyond simple audio and video options. The course provided design and build partners with a familiarity with outdoor technology options. Attendees learned how the environment influences outdoor technology choices. Additionally, participants discussed infrastructure, and equipment needs and options to ensure a successful project. Real-world examples were provided during the course to ensure attendees understood technology for outdoor spaces. And, how these principles are relevant to any project that includes an outdoor technology component requested by their client.
